HG/T 2601-2011 is the Chinese chemical industry standard for centrifugally cast alloy tubes that bear pressure at high temperature. It covers the manufacture of the tubes, the tests applied to them, the inspection, and the marking, packaging, transport and storage. Its scope is the tube used in hydrogen reformer furnaces and in petrochemical ethylene cracking furnaces, and it extends to other high-temperature pressure-bearing furnace tubes; hearth rollers, glass rollers and similar high-temperature pressure parts may be made to it by reference. The analytical methods of the GB/T 223 series, from GB/T 223.3 through GB/T 223.70, are quoted throughout. It supersedes HG/T 2601-2000. Issued on 30 December 2011, it has applied since 1 July 2012.
