Scope
GB/Z 44938.1-2024 is the English-translated version of 机械电气安全 第1部分:用于保护人员安全的传感器.
GB/Z 44938.1-2024 is the Chinese standard "Electrical safety of machinery - Part 1: Safety-related sensors used for the protection of persons". Its scope clause reads: This document specifies safety-related sensors (SRS) and safety-related sensors used to protect personnel safety with regard to system performance.
System (SRSS) requirements in development and integration.
This document applies only under the following conditions. --Use sensors to protect personnel; and -- Functional safety standards for electrical control systems that consider sensors as subsystems or subsystem elements; and --Product-specific sensor standards (such as IEC 61496 (all parts) and IEC 60947-5-2) do not contain essential provisions or specific The sensor standard for certain products has not yet been released.
Examples of systematic capability verification using various safety-related sensor standards are given in Appendix A. All requirements and research methods in this document are limited to achieving personal protection through the following means. --Detection of potentially dangerous objects; --Detecting the entry of human bodies, human body parts and human-related objects into dangerous areas; or --Identify the differences between these parts and other objects.
Note 1.The use of SRS/SRSS in public places requires not only the detection of the person, but also the detection of the equipment associated with the person, such as wheelchairs, crutches and infusions.
Rack, etc. The performance levels of sensors and sensor systems refer to existing functional safety standards (such as IEC 62061, IEC 61508 (all parts) and definitions in ISO 13849 (all parts).
NOTE 2.For simplicity and to avoid misuse, this document does not provide type definitions or linkages as in IEC 61496-1. Safety Integrity Level (SIL) or SIL requirement limit (subsystem) (SILcl) to simplify the use process for the end user.
Special attention should be paid to the test function and the reliability of the test capability. Environmental impact and indoor and outdoor application tests are defined and will affect the Credibility of detection functions and detection capabilities.
Note 3.Environmental impacts and their classification and test procedures mainly refer to the requirements of general environmental standards. Only in the absence of relevant standards, more specific requirements will be provided.
Requirements and tests for the body. This document is also applicable to personnel protection applications in other industries, such as agriculture or in public places such as subway stations.
Unlike IEC 61508-2, this document does not consider or address actual application requirements (such as processes or components, etc.).
