1 Scope

This document specifies the nominal values of the AC supply voltage and frequency and of the DC supply voltage of externally powered industrial automation instruments.

This document applies to industrial automation instruments.

Note: the tolerances of supply voltage and frequency are specified by GB/T 17214.2-2005.

4 AC power supply

4.1 Nominal values of voltage. The nominal values of voltage, as r.m.s. values, are: single-phase 220 V; three-phase 380 V; 440 V. Note: 440 V applies only to marine instruments.

4.2 Nominal values of frequency. The nominal values of frequency are 50 Hz and 60 Hz. Note: 60 Hz applies only to marine instruments.

5 DC power supply

The nominal values of the DC supply are: +24 V and -24 V; +15 V and -15 V; +12 V and -12 V; +5 V and -5 V.
