Foreword

GB/T 9914 "Test methods of enhancement" is divided into three parts.

--- Part 1. Determination of moisture content;

--- Part 2. Determination of glass fiber content of combustible material;

--- Part 3. Determination of mass per unit area;

This section GB/T 9914 Part 3.

This section drafted in accordance with GB/T 1.1-2009 given rules.

This Part replaces GB/T 9914.3-2001 "Enhanced Test methods - Part 3. Determination of mass per unit area", and

The main difference between GB/T 9914.3-2001 are as follows.

--- Remove the GB/T 18374, an increase of GB/T 2918-1998 (see Chapter 2, Section 2 of the 2001 edition);

--- Increasing the definition of mass per unit area (see 3.1);

--- Increase the informative Appendix A (see Appendix A).

This section uses the translation method identical with ISO 3374.2000 "to enhance the quality of fabric and felt products per unit area was measured."

This part made the following editorial changes.

--- Consistent with the existing standard series, the standard name will be changed to "Enhanced Test methods - Part 3. measuring mass per unit area

1 Scope

This section GB/T 9914 specifies the method for determination of glass fiber, carbon fiber, aramid fiber products mass per unit area.

This method is applicable to the mat (chopped strand mat, continuous strand mat) and fabrics.
