1 Scope

This document specifies the classification and marking, product specifications, technical requirements, Test methods, inspection rules, as well as marking, packaging, transportation and storage.

This document applies to flat weaving machines where the warp and/or weft yarns are made of carbon fiber stretched tow with the same manufacturer's mark and the same specifications Fabric.

3 Terms and definitions

The terms and definitions defined in GB/T 18374 and GB/T 40724 and the following apply to this document.

3.1 Spread

A method of spreading the filaments in a tow into wider filaments.

3.2 Two-directional fabric

A flat woven fabric formed by two sets of yarns interwoven perpendicularly to each other.

3.3 Overlapping warp

A joint method in which the broken warp yarns are joined together by overlapping and gluing each other.

3.4 gap between the warp

Gaps are caused by warp yarns not being arranged closely together.

3.5 gap between the weft

Gaps are caused by the weft yarns not being arranged closely together.
