Scope
GB/T 33612-2017 is the English-translated version of 芳纶及其混编纤维的双轴向纬编织物.
GB/T 33612-2017 covers biaxial weft-knitted fabrics made mainly from aramid and blended with carbon fibre and other high-performance fibres; fabrics of other fibres may be handled by reference to it.
It sets the terms and definitions, the codes, the requirements, the test methods, the inspection rules and the marking, packaging, transport and storage.
The fabric is defined as one in which layers of yarn lying in the 0 ° direction of knitting and layers lying at 90 ° to it are bound together by a weft-knitted structure, and clause 4 codes the fabric by that binding system: P for the weft-insertion structure, DP for the double weft-insertion structure and R for the rib structure. It was issued on 12 May 2017 and has applied since 1 December 2017.

Foreword
This standard is drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.
1 Scope
This standard specifies the terms and definitions of biaxial weft knitted fabrics of aramid and its mixed fibers, codes, requirements, test methods, inspection regulations Then, mark, pack, transport and store.
This standard applies to aramid fiber as the main material, and carbon fiber and other high-performance fiber mixed biaxial weft knitted fabric, the other A biaxial weft knitted fabric made of fibers may be referred to.

3 Terms and definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this document.
3.1 Biaxial weft knitted fabric
The weft knitting structure in the knitting structure is used to contain one or more layers of weft yarns in the 0 ° direction (in the weaving direction) Layers in the 90 ° direction (perpendicular to the weaving direction) are bundled together to form the fabric.
4 Code
4.1 Structure code
The biaxial weft knitted fabric can be divided into P-type (P), DP-ray (DP) and R-weave (R) according to the structure of the bundled system. P The weave system represents the binding system for the weft needle organization, the structure shown in Figure 1; DP weave on behalf of the binding system for the double weft needle organization, see Figure 2; Law on behalf of the bundled system for the rib organization, the structure shown in Figure 3.
