Scope

GB/T 9081-2023 is the English-translated version of 机动车燃油加油机.

GB/T 9081-2023 is the Chinese national specification for the fuel dispensers that refuel motor vehicles, covering design, manufacture and acceptance.

It fixes requirements for the whole machine and its components: explosion-proof construction to the GB/T 3836 series, self-locking and online validation of key electronic parts, a coding device on a custom chip whose output is encrypted rather than plain text, a microprocessor that stores data for at least 7 years, and a pump with inlet vacuum of at least 54 kPa and outlet pressure no higher than 300 kPa.

Clause 1 applies it to fixed and skid-mounted filling stations, with mobile refuelling trucks referred to it. Further clauses set the test methods, which largely follow JJF 1521, plus inspection rules, nameplate, seals and packaging.

Issued on 27 November 2023, it replaces GB/T 9081-2008 and has applied since 1 June 2024.
