Scope
GB/T 8061-2022 is the English-translated version of 杠杆千分尺.
GB/T 8061-2022 is the Chinese national product standard for lever micrometers, the outside micrometers whose screw reading is subdivided by a dial indicator.
It fixes their types and basic parameters, their requirements, the inspection conditions and the inspection methods, and the marking and packaging, covering appearance, interaction, materials, frame rigidity, measuring force, the measuring surfaces, the scales and scale marks, the indicator dial, the maximum permissible error and the setting block or rod, with the check temperature, humidity and soaking conditions in chapter 6.
It applies to lever micrometers with a 0.01 mm head graduation and a 25 mm head range whose dial reads 0.001 mm or 0.002 mm, or resolves 0.0005 mm or 0.001 mm, with a 100 mm upper measuring limit.
It replaces GB/T 8061-2004, was issued on 11 July 2022 and has applied since 1 February 2023.
