Foreword

This document is in accordance with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Guidelines for Standardization Work Part 1: Structure and Drafting Rules of Standardization Documents" Drafting.

This document replaces GB/T 6286-1986 "Molecular Sieve Bulk Density Determination Method", compared with GB/T 6286-1986, except for structural adjustment In addition to the overall and editorial changes, the main technical changes are as follows.

a) Expanded the scope of application of this document (see Chapter 1, Chapter 1 of the 1986 edition);

b) The requirements for reagents or materials for the bulk density determination method have been added (see Chapter 4);

c) Modified the requirements for equipment and sample preparation of the bulk density determination method (see Chapter 5 and Chapter 6, Chapter 2 of the 1986 edition Chapter and Chapter 3);

d) The method for measuring the bulk density of granular and powdered molecular sieves under direct measurement has been added (see Chapter 7, Chapter 8, and Chapter 9);

e) The method for measuring the tapped bulk density of powdered molecular sieve on a dry basis has been added (see Chapter 10);

f) Improved the experimental procedure of dry bulk density (see 10.1, Chapter 4 of the 1986 edition);

g) Modified the test data processing method of dry base bulk density (see 10.2, Chapter 5 of the 1986 edition);

h) Modified the precision requirements of the dry basis bulk density determination method (see 10.3, 5.3 of the 1986 edition);

i) The test report requirements have been added (see Chapter 11).

1 Scope

This document specifies the method for measuring the bulk density of molecular sieves.

This document is applicable to the determination of bulk density and tapped bulk density of various granular molecular sieves, the determination of tapped bulk density of powdered molecular sieves, granular Determination of bulk and tapped bulk density on dry basis of molecular sieve, determination of bulk density on dry basis of powdered molecular sieve.
