1 Scope

GB/T 46402-2025 is the Chinese national standard covering the laundry that washes hospital linen - the separation of soiled and clean sides that must never be crossed, the wash disinfection and its validation, the handling of infectious loads, the transport and the traceability of a batch back to the ward. First edition, under the Ministry of Commerce. In force from 1 May 2026. Issued on 31 October 2025, it has been in force since 1 May 2026.

3 Terms and Definitions

The terms and definitions defined in WS/T 508 apply to this document.

3.1 medical textiles Reusable fabrics for medical facilities. Note
