1 Scope

GB/T 46340-2025 is the Chinese national standard covering assessing a module or inverter as a green product - the energy and emissions of manufacture against the energy it will generate, the materials and the restricted substances, the durability and the declared lifetime, and the recyclability at end of life. First edition, under the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. In force from 1 May 2026. Issued on 5 October 2025, it has been in force since 1 May 2026.

This document specifies the evaluation requirements for green products such as photovoltaic modules and inverters, and describes the evaluation methods. This document applies to the green product evaluation of photovoltaic modules and photovoltaic inverters.
