GB/T 45912-2025 is the English-translated version of 科技馆展品全生命周期安全要求.

GB/T 45912-2025 is the Chinese national standard covering a museum exhibit from drawing to scrapping — the design stage covering materials, appearance, mechanical and electrical design, safety signs and the design review, the welding, gluing, surface treatment and trial run in manufacture, the packaging and shipping, the no-load and load debugging on site, the use, maintenance and security management while the exhibit is open to visitors, and the disposal. The requirements follow one exhibit through every stage rather than testing the finished object. First edition, under the China Association for Science and Technology. In force from 1 January 2026. Issued on 30 June 2025, it has been in force since 1 January 2026.
