GB/T 45839-2025 is the Chinese national standard covering putting stand-alone smoke, heat and gas alarms on a network instead of leaving each to sound on its own — the transceiver and the wireless link, the fire and fault alarm functions, the field platform and the manufacturer and central remote management platforms, the mobile software, the insulation resistance, electric strength and electromagnetic compatibility, and the identity code and HTTPS data format without which two makers cannot share one platform. First edition, under the National Fire and Rescue Administration. In force from 1 June 2026. Issued on 30 May 2025, it has been in force since 1 June 2026.

3 Terms and definitions

The following terms and definitions apply to this document.

3.1 Devices, household combustible gas detectors, independent electrical fire monitoring detectors, etc

It consists of independent fire detection alarm, manual fire alarm button, transceiver, fire sound and/or light alarm, loudspeaker/broadcast, etc.

Field equipment, as well as home fire safety systems, field platforms and remote management platforms are all or partly connected by wireless communication.

3.2 Alarm trigger device alarmtriggerdevice

Note. Alarm trigger devices include independent fire detection alarms, manual fire alarm buttons, etc.

3.3 On-site platform

Directly or indirectly receives and processes relevant information of each device in the on-site protection area, and has independent control output such as issuing fire alarm signals.
