GB/T 44967-2024 is the English-translated version of 饲料用酶制剂通则.

GB/T 44967-2024 is the Chinese national standard covering the enzyme additive fermented or extracted for feed use — the raw materials, the appearance, the quality and hygiene indicators, the enzyme activity that is the only measure of what the buyer is actually paying for, the moisture, granularity and pH, the arsenic, lead, mercury and cadmium, the salmonella and coliforms, the aflatoxin B1, zearalenone and deoxynivalenol carried over from the substrate, the sampling and inspection rules, and the shelf life. It is the general rule the individual feed enzyme products are judged against, and it also covers mixed feed additives that contain nothing but enzyme preparations. First edition. In force from 1 June 2025. Issued on 28 November 2024, it has been in force since 1 June 2025.

1 Scope

This document defines the terms and definitions of enzyme preparations for feed, specifies their technical requirements, describes the corresponding test methods, and specifies It also includes sampling, inspection rules, labeling, packaging, transportation, storage and shelf life.

This document applies to feed additive enzyme preparations and mixed feed additives containing only enzyme preparations.

3 Terms and definitions

The following terms and definitions apply to this document.

3.1 Feed enzyme preparation

It is produced and processed by microbial fermentation or extraction from animal or plant tissues, with or without the addition of carriers, and contains one or more A feed additive enzyme preparation having a chemically active enzyme, and a feed additive enzyme preparation prepared by mixing one or more of the above enzymes with or without a carrier product.
