1 Scope

This document specifies the composition, content and format of container multimodal transport waybills, as well as the requirements for filling out, retaining and circulating waybills.

3 Terms and definitions

The following terms and definitions apply to this document.

3.1 container intermodal transport

A form of multimodal transport that uses containers as transport units.

3.2 Intermodal transport operator

A combined transport operator who signs a multimodal transport contract with the shipper and assumes full responsibility for the transportation process.
