GB/T 43769-2024 is the English-translated version of 城际磁浮交通中低速磁浮地面设备牵引供电系统.

GB/T 43769-2024 specifies the traction power supply system of medium and low speed maglev for intercity maglev traffic: its system composition and technical requirements, the requirements for its equipment and components, the test methods and the inspection rules.

It applies to DC traction power supply systems for intercity maglev lines with a maximum operating speed not exceeding 160 km/h, driven by short-stator linear motors and collecting current from a side current collection conductor rail; other medium and low speed maglev DC systems using side current collection may refer to it.

The technical requirements cover the traction substations and the traction network, and the component clauses address rectifier transformers, rectifiers, AC/DC power supply units, wayside regenerative braking energy utilization devices, medium-voltage AC and DC switchgear, DC earth-fault protection, the conductor rail with its expansion joints, ordinary joints and end ramps, insulators, support assemblies, disconnectors and section insulators.

Test methods are given for equipment, components and the complete system, with type, routine and system inspection rules, and an informative annex on the rail/shoe dynamic contact force.
