GB 50060-2008 — This code is formulated with a view to make the design of high voltage electrical installation (short for electrical installation) (3- llOkV) be safe, economic feasibility, easy access and maintenance and state-of-art technology.

This code is applicable to the designs of construction and extension of high voltage electrical installation project (3-11 OkV).

1.0.3 As for the design of electrical installation, the equipment shall be adopted and the disposal project shall be established according to the requirements of power load property, capacity, environmental condition and operation, setting, maintenance.

This Chinese standard applies to new construction and expansion of 3 ~ 110kV high-voltage power distribution equipment engineering design. Distribution equipment should be designed according to the nature of power load, capacity, environmental conditions and operation, installation and maintenance requirements, selection of equipment and the development of reasonable layout scheme. Should be used in the technical economic rationality, high efficiency, low energy consumption of electrical equipment and materials. Distribution equipment shall be designed according to the project characteristics, scale and development planning, so far, the recent combination, and should be recent -based, and should be properly left room for expansion. Distribution equipment must be designed to adhere to the principle of conservation land. Distribution equipment design in addition to the implementation of this standard, there should be consistent with existing national standards.
