Scope
GB/T 42041-2022 is the English-translated version of 航天术语 空间数据与信息传输.
GB/T 42041-2022 is the Chinese national terminology standard for space data and information transfer.
Its clause 3 is organised in seven groups of entries - common basic terms, cross-support services, space link services, space internetworking services, spacecraft interface services, mission operations and information management operations, and systems engineering - followed by a clause of abbreviations, a bibliography and an alphabetical index.
Among the entries visible on the page is space data systems, defined as the organised whole that acquires, transmits, stores, processes and uses space data over communication links between spacecraft and with ground systems.
Clause 1 applies it to the research, design, equipment development, production and use of such systems, and to document writing and product naming; clause 2 states that it has no normative references. Issued on 12 October 2022, it has applied since the same date.
