Scope
GB/T 41628-2022 is the English-translated version of 肉苁蓉培育技术规程.
GB/T 41628-2022 is the Chinese national code of practice for growing Cistanche, and it covers desert Cistanche, Cistanche tuberosa and Cistanche salina.
It fixes the suitable growing range, with the origin of the plant, the climatic conditions and the environmental quality of air, water and soil; the cultivation of the host plant, from seed collection and seedling raising to afforestation and nursing management; and the cultivation of Cistanche itself, with host selection, seed cultivation, seed quality grading, inoculation and field management.
Harvest time, criteria, tools and methods and the drying site and drying time close the technical part. It defines the inoculation ditch and the seed tape, adds four annexes and cites seventeen standards, among them GB 3095, GB 3838, GB 5084, GB 15618 and GB/T 15776. Issued on 11 July 2022, it has applied since 1 February 2023.

1 Scope
Technical requirements for technology, field management, excavation, drying, as well as host plant seed collection, seedling raising, and afforestation.
This document is applicable to the cultivation and management of Cistanche (desert), Cistanche tuberosa and Cistanche salina.
