Scope

GB/T 41504-2022 is the English-translated version of 建筑外门窗及百叶防非正常开启性能检测方法.

GB/T 41504-2022 is the Chinese national test method for the resistance of external doors, windows and shutters to abnormal opening. It fixes the grading and judgment rules, the testing equipment and the personnel involved, the specimens and how they are installed, the detection procedure and the content of the test report.

Normative annexes cover the damage resistance of glass panels, the anti-static load detection points and positions, and the impact resistance test locations. Abnormal opening means opening by static load, by impact load or by breaking with specific tools, from the attack side towards the non-intrusive side.

It is for laboratory testing only: it does not cover the joint between specimen and wall, opening the lock cylinder by technical means or chemical corrosion. It was issued on 15 April 2022 and has applied since 1 November 2022.

3 Terms and Definitions

The terms and definitions defined in GB/T 5823 and the following apply to this document.

3.1 Shutters; shutter doors and windows

A collective term for shutter doors and shutters.

Note: For the definition of shutters and shutters, see 3.4.7 and 4.4.5 in GB/T 5823-2008.

3.2 Anti-abnormal opening performance burglar resistance

The ability of doors, windows and shutters to resist entering the non-intrusive side through abnormal opening methods within the specified time.

Note: Abnormal opening refers to the opening of doors, windows and shutters by applying static loads, impact loads, and using specific tools to break down.

3.3 Intrusion side attack side

During actual use, the side may be subject to abnormal opening.

Note: The other side of the invasive side is the non-invasive side. In practical engineering, there may be cases where both sides of the specimen are intrusion sides.
