Scope

GB/T 41450-2022 is the English-translated version of 无人机低空遥感监测的多传感器一致性检测技术规范.

GB/T 41450-2022 says how to check that the several sensors carried on a low altitude unmanned aerial vehicle agree with one another when used for remote sensing monitoring.

It applies to fixed-wing and multi-rotor UAVs carrying a lidar together with optical remote sensing sensors.

It fixes the basic requirements - the detection process and content, the test instruments, the space and time reference and the data collection - the indoor and outdoor detection conditions, and the flight itself, with its plan, environment, speed and altitude.

Radiation consistency is then judged on the lidar, on the optical sensors and on the two together, using reflectance correlation and the relative median error of reflectance, and geometric consistency in the same way.

Three informative annexes give example observation and calculation handbooks and a test report. It was issued on 15 April 2022 and has applied since 15 April 2022.

Foreword

This document is in accordance with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Guidelines for Standardization Work Part 1: Structure and Drafting Rules of Standardization Documents" drafted.

1 Scope

This document specifies the basic requirements, detection conditions, detection flight, radiation consistency testing, geometric consistency testing, evaluation and sorting of testing results.

This document applies to the radiation and geometric consistency detection of multi-sensor remote sensing monitoring based on fixed-wing and multi-rotor low-altitude UAVs.

2 Normative references

The contents of the following documents constitute essential provisions of this document through normative references in the text. Among them, dated citations documents, only the version corresponding to that date applies to this document; for undated references, the latest edition (including all amendments) applies to this document.

3 Terms and Definitions

The following terms and definitions apply to this document.

3.1 Optical remote sensing sensor

Instruments for receiving or recording the spectral information of electromagnetic waves reflected or radiated by objects in the visible, near-infrared, mid-infrared and thermal infrared bands of the electromagnetic spectrum.

3.2 Lidar

A system that emits laser beams and receives echoes to obtain three-dimensional information on objects. [Source: GB/T 14950-2009, 4.150]

3.3 Multi-sensor

It is an integrated system composed of lidar and optical remote sensing sensors, which collects and provides information from the two.

3.4 Radiation consistency

Under the same observation conditions, for the same observation target, the degree of agreement between the multiple results of the radiation measurement values of the multi-sensor integrated system.

Note: The main metrics include reflectance correlation and reflectance relative median error.

3.5 Geometric consistency

Under the same observation conditions, for the same observation target, the degree of agreement between the multiple results of the geometric measurement values of the multi-sensor integrated system.
