Scope

GB/T 41211-2021 is the English-translated version of 月球与行星原位光谱探测仪器通用规范.

GB/T 41211-2021 is the general specification for in-situ spectral detection instruments used in lunar and planetary exploration, which measure spectra at or near the target following remote commands or programmed settings.

It covers instruments based on imaging spectroscopy, point spectroscopy or a combination of the two, detecting radiation or diffuse reflection spectra. It sets the technical requirements for function, performance and environmental adaptability, together with the laboratory test methods for checking each of them.

It also gives a ground verification test method and the inspection rules. It applies to the design, development, laboratory testing and ground verification of these instruments, and other space or ground spectral instruments may refer to it. It was issued on 31 December 2021 and has applied since 1 July 2022.
