Scope

GB/T 41048-2021 is the English-translated version of 城镇排水用塑料检查井技术要求.

GB/T 41048-2021 covers plastic inspection chambers and manholes for urban drainage made mainly of unplasticized polyvinyl chloride (PVC-U), polypropylene (PP) or polyethylene (PE).

It specifies their classification, marking and construction, the materials, the requirements and test methods, the inspection rules and marking, packaging, transport and storage.

It applies where the water temperature does not exceed 40 °C and the burial depth does not exceed 6 m. Annexes give test methods for the durability of the well block material, for the structural integrity of the well block and for the bearing capacity of offset cuffs and near-ground components.

Manufacturers, designers of drainage networks and testing laboratories use it. It was issued on 31 December 2021 and has applied since 1 July 2022.

This document is in accordance with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Guidelines for Standardization Work Part 1. Structure and Drafting Rules of Standardization Documents" drafted.

1 Scope

This document specifies unplasticized polyvinyl chloride (PVC-U), polypropylene (PP) and polyethylene (PE) as the main raw materials for urban drainage.

Classification, marking and construction, materials, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of plastic manholes made of materials.

This document is applicable to plastic inspection wells for urban drainage where the water temperature is not higher than 40°C and the buried depth is not more than 6m.
