1 Scope

This document stipulates the extrusion molding of rigid polyvinyl chloride (PVC-U) compounds for use in pressureless buried sewage and drainage applications.

Terms, definitions, symbols and abbreviations, materials, product classifications, colors, appearances, and specifications of vinyl (PVC-U) pipes (hereinafter referred to as "pipes") requirements such as dimensions and physical and mechanical properties, describes the corresponding test methods, and stipulates inspection rules, marking, transportation and storage.
