4.1.3 The products can be divided into four categories according to the cross-sectional shape.

4.2 Product markings

4.2.1 Marking method

MARK the products according to the following sequence. type-volume expansion ratio, cross-sectional shape-specification, standard No.

5 Requirements

5.1 Product-type dimensional tolerances

The schematic diagram for the section structure of hydrophilic expansion rubber is shown in Figure 1. The dimensional tolerances of the product-type hydrophilic expansion rubber shall conform to the provisions of Table 1.

5.2 Product-type appearance quality

It is allowed to have no more than 4 defects with the depths of not greater than 2mm and the areas of not greater than 16mm² on the surface of per meter of hydrophilic expansion rubber, such as dents, bubbles, impurities, surface depressions, etc.

5.3 Physical properties

6 Test methods

6.1 Dimensional tolerances

When the specifications are less than or equal to 150mm, USE a measuring tool with an accuracy of not less than 0.02mm for measurement.

6.2 Appearance quality

USE visual observation and a measuring tool for appearance quality inspection.

6.3 Physical properties

6.3.1 Test piece preparation

Standard product-type test pieces shall be prepared along the calendering direction under the vulcanization condition equivalent to the products. CUT an enough length of product passing the specification and appearance quality inspections as required by the test for finished product testing. CONDUCT the test piece preparation according to the provisions of GB/T 2941.PLACE the test pieces at a constant temperature of (70 ± 2) °C for 8h. PLACE them in standard status for 4h afterwards.
