Scope
GB/T 40765-2021 is the English-translated version of 基础地理信息本体模型.
GB/T 40765-2021 specifies an ontology model for fundamental geographic information at the conceptual level, so that basic geographic data can be shared and interpreted consistently at the semantic level.
It sets out the basic framework of the model, with text descriptions, ontology attributes and relationships between concepts, and the model components: semantic structure, concepts, predicates and sememes.
It then gives guidelines for building the model, including the hierarchy of concepts, and rules for expressing the conceptual framework, predicates, sememes and relations, with informative annexes of examples.
It builds on the element classification of GB/T 13923 and applies to the construction of semantic models for fundamental geographic information, while general geographic information frameworks can use it by reference. It was issued on 11 October 2021 and has applied since 11 October 2021.

Foreword
This standard was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.
Introduction
The sharing and interoperability of geographic information is generally divided into three aspects. the data layer, the syntax layer and the semantic layer. Among them, the information sharing on the semantic level Especially difficult. Information ontology (hereinafter referred to as "ontology") technology provides effective technology in realizing semantic analysis, reasoning, and interoperability plan. At present, various fields related to geographic information, and even between different departments in the same field, have begun to build systems that meet their own needs.
The requested information body. This reality makes it difficult to share information in distributed systems.
The original intention of the domain to solve the problem of semantic interoperability is contradictory. The ontology model of geographic information is based on the understanding of concepts and data in the field of geographic information.
Based on the semantic heterogeneity of data and systems, and the realization of the vision of semantic sharing and interoperability, the normative geographic information ontology model includes The construction principles and methods of the model and the formal expression of the ontology, etc., contribute to the integration and mapping mechanism between heterogeneous geographic information ontology The construction of, so as to provide the necessary common technical foundation for the realization of semantic level interoperability, and promote the integrated sharing and interoperability of geographic information, Expand the value-added areas of the geographic information industry.
As an important part of geographic information, basic geographic information has a clear category and standardized classification system (GB/T 13923 "Classification and Code of Basic Geographic Information Elements"), and widely serve all walks of life. Therefore, this standard is based on this category.
Geographic information semantic model specification. This standard analyzes the definitions, meanings and relationships of basic geographic information Common technical requirements such as ontology attributes (that is, conceptual attributes), sememes, and relational sets constructed by the formal ontology model are essential for the realization of basic geographic information.
Information sharing and interoperability, it supports the formalization of basic geographic information concepts at the semantic level, and supports the semantic analysis and analysis of geographic information at the grammatical level. Reasoning, helping the design of database logical model and physical model at the data level.
1 Scope
This standard specifies the ontology model of basic geographic information at the conceptual level, including the basic framework and structure of the ontology model of basic geographic information. Component elements, model construction criteria, model expression, etc.
This standard applies to the construction of basic geographic information semantic model, the construction of general geographic information semantic model framework can be used by reference.
