Scope

GB/T 40597-2021 is the English-translated version of 电能质量规划总则.

GB/T 40597-2021 sets out the general method for planning power quality in a power system. It gives the general requirements and the planning objectives, and then the content of power quality planning at three levels: for the whole system, for a region and for a single planning point, each with its own general requirements and planning content.

It defines power quality planning and disturbing load, meaning loads that adversely affect power quality, such as non-linear, unbalanced or shock loads, and builds on the national standards for voltage deviation, fluctuation and flicker, harmonics, three-phase unbalance, frequency deviation, interharmonics and voltage sags.

It is used by power companies and power users, was issued on 11 October 2021 and has applied since 1 May 2022.

1 Scope

This document specifies the overall method of power quality planning, including general requirements for power quality planning, planning goals, and system-oriented, Requirements for the content of power quality planning for regions and planning points.

3 Terms and definitions

The following terms and definitions defined in GB/T 32507-2016 apply to this document.

3.1 Power quality planning

Develop a more comprehensive and long-term power quality development plan for the power system, planning area or single planning point, and clarify planning goals and plans. The process of planning content and plans.

3.2 Disturbing load

All kinds of loads connected to the power system that adversely affect power quality.
