GB/T 40055-2021 is the English-translated version of 中国共产主义青年团团旗.
GB/T 40055-2021 is the national standard for the flag of the Communist Youth League of China. It sets the appearance and pattern of the flag, its requirements, test methods and inspection rules, and covers packaging and marking, accompanying documents, transport and storage.
It applies to flags made of chemical fibre fabrics and silk, while flags made of paper, metal, plastic and other materials may refer to it. The appearance is judged visually at 1000 mm to 1200 mm from the flag surface in bright natural light, or under a D65 light source of not less than 750 lx.
Its normative references include the textile colour fastness tests to soaping and to xenon arc light and weathering and the League flag colour standard sample of GB/T 40056. It was issued on 30 April 2021 and has applied since 30 April 2021.
