This standard was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.

1 Scope

This standard specifies the technical requirements, inspection methods, inspection rules, signs, packaging, transportation, and storage of scanning voice reading machines.

This standard applies to desktop scanning voice reading machines used by the visually impaired, with optional display and earphones.

Electronic equipment that uses text recognition and speech synthesis technology to read printed text in Chinese and English.

3.3 Voice reading mode

Set to use artificially synthesized speech to read out.

3.4 Readingrecognitionspeed

Start the operation key or switch, the time from the start of scanning and reading to the completion of recognition, the amount of text information obtained.

Start the operation key or switch, the time domain from the beginning of scanning and reading to the beginning of recognition and voice reading.
