4 Basic Requirements

4.1 Elderly care institutions should be oriented towards meeting the needs of the elderly, serve the elderly, be suitable for the abilities of the elderly, and provide corresponding rehabilitation support. Assistive devices.

4.2 The configuration of rehabilitation assistive devices in nursing homes should be based on the principle of creating a safe and barrier-free environment to facilitate the activities and use of the elderly.

4.3 Nursing homes should assess the abilities of the elderly before they move in, determine their ability levels, and recommend Individuals can configure their own rehabilitation assistive devices for personal use. The configuration catalog is shown in Appendix A.

4.4 Nursing homes should be divided into different areas and equipped with relevant rehabilitation assistive devices according to Appendix B.

4.5 The design and installation of barrier-free buildings and facilities should comply with the requirements of GB 50763.
