3 Terms and Definitions

The following terms and definitions apply to this document.

3.1 axillary crutch

A handheld device that provides support and balance while walking.

Note. Includes armpit support, handle, bar and one or more legs, see Figure 1.

3.2 axillary support

The support is placed on the upper part of the body, near the armpits, during use.

3.3 axillary support cover

The component that covers the armpit support.

3.4 Handgrip

The part used for hand gripping during use.

3.5 Handgrip cover

The component that connects the armpit support, handle, and armpit leg (telescopic bar).
