Scope

GB/T 39139.2-2023 is the English-translated version of 页岩气 环境保护 第2部分:生产作业环境保护推荐作法.

GB/T 39139.2-2023 is Part 2 of GB/T 39139 and collects the recommended practices for protecting the environment through the whole run of onshore shale gas production.

Clause by clause it follows the work itself: geophysical prospecting, pre-drilling engineering, drilling, fracturing, building the gathering and transport system, gathering and transport production, and finally shutting a well in and leaving the site.

For each stage it puts forward ecological and environmental protection requirements meant to cut the environmental risk of shale gas development and prevent pollution.

It cites the pollution control standards for hazardous and general industrial solid waste, the farmland irrigation water quality standard, the radiation protection standard for industrial flaw detection and the drilling pollution prevention methods of GB/T 39139.1. It was issued on 23 May 2023 and has applied since 1 September 2023.

Foreword

This document is in accordance with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Guidelines for Standardization Work Part 1: Structure and Drafting Rules for Standardization Documents" drafting.

This document is the second part of GB/T 39139 "Shale Gas Environmental Protection". GB/T 39139 has issued the following parts.

--- Part 1: Pollution prevention and disposal methods of drilling operations;

--- Part 2: Recommended practices for environmental protection of production operations.

Introduction

In order to implement the "Environmental Protection Law of the People's Republic of China" and the "Law of the People's Republic of China on the Prevention and Control of Environmental Pollution by Solid Waste" and other laws and regulations Standardize the technical requirements and management requirements for environmental protection of shale gas exploration and development, reduce environmental risks caused by shale gas development, and prevent shale gas environmental pollution during gas development, protect the ecological environment, and safeguard human health. Combined with the actual situation of shale gas development, formulate a shale gas environmental protection policy.

Protection series standards. GB/T 39139 aims to standardize environmental protection measures in the process of shale gas exploration and development, and is proposed to be composed of three parts.

--- Part 1: Drilling operation pollution prevention and disposal methods. The purpose is to specify the source control and process control of shale gas drilling operations. system, waste collection and treatment, and environmental protection requirements for well completion.

--- Part 2: Recommended practices for environmental protection of production operations. The purpose is to propose a holistic environment for the whole process of shale gas production operations. environmental protection requirements, put forward environmental protection requirements for geophysical prospecting, pre-drilling, drilling, fracturing, gathering and transportation, well closure and withdrawal involved in shale gas development. Nursing recommended practice.

--- Part 3: Recommended practices for well site land reclamation. The purpose is to propose land reclamation for the temporarily occupied land during construction after completion of the well. The technical and environmental requirements of the time.
