1 Scope

This standard specifies the safety requirements for the design and manufacture of floor cutting machines (hereinafter referred to as cutting machines).

This standard applies to power-feeding ground cutting machines, manual-feeding ground cutting machines or hand-propelled ground cutting machines (see

3.2~3.4), used for sawing, grooving and milling of concrete, asphalt and similar building materials, with electric or internal combustion engine as the main step

Line-controlled ground cutting machine. Its power transmission is mechanical or hydraulic. It is scheduled to be wet or dry cut using a rotary cutting wheel

Cut. The cutting wheel can be a diamond cutting wheel or a boron nitride cutting wheel. If within the design and use parameters of the machine, it can also be used

Other types of cutting tools, this standard does not include these types of cutting tools.
