GB/T 3810.10-2026 is the English-translated version of 陶瓷砖试验方法 第10部分：湿膨胀的测定.
Part 10 of the test methods for ceramic tiles gives the method for determining moisture expansion. Moisture expansion is the slow dimensional change a fired ceramic body can undergo when it takes up water, and it is a property of interest to tile manufacturers, quality control laboratories, building material suppliers, architects and contractors who want assurance about dimensional stability in service.
The standard adopts an international standard and replaces GB/T 3810.10-2016, so test laboratories that follow the earlier edition should review their procedures. As part of a multi-part series it is normally used alongside the product standards that call for it. It is a recommended national standard (GB/T) issued under the China Building Materials Federation.
Exporters of tiles to China and importers checking Chinese product claims can use it to understand the expected test basis. It becomes effective on 1 April 2027.

GB/T 3810.10-2026 is a recommended national standard (GB/T) of the People's Republic of China, issued on 28 September 2026 by the State Administration for Market Regulation and the Standardization Administration of China, with effect from 1 April 2027.
This edition replaces GB/T 3810.10-2016.
The document adopts an international standard (ISO or IEC).
It is under the responsibility of the China Building Materials Federation.
