1 Scope
This standard specifies the radar commonly used terms and their definitions.
This standard applies to the radar field of professional scientific research and teaching, the development of relevant standards, prepared in accordance with the relevant technical documents.
2 radar system
2.1 Radar Category
2.1.1 Radar

Using electromagnetic waves to obtain information and find the target means the target location.
Note. The term "radar (radar)" is "Radio Detection and Ranging (RadioDetectionandRanging)" acronym.
2.1.2 Functional Classification
2.1.2.1
Mainly used to detect radar warning about space goals.
2.1.2.2
Within the selected area (for example an airport terminal area, en-route) to the selected target continuous observation radar.
2.1.2.3
For a medium range surveillance radar surveillance aircraft around the airport.
2.1.2.4
Ground radar for observing the position of aircraft and vehicles on the airport surface conditions.
2.1.2.5 PAR
Installed in the vicinity of the runway, the aircraft relative to the observed deviation from the provisions of decline line, guiding the aircraft approach, landing 3D radars.

Used to detect low-altitude targets, and take up low-altitude radar blind work.
