Scope
GB/T 37526-2019 is the English-translated version of 太阳能资源评估方法.
GB/T 37526-2019 is a solar energy resource assessment method.
Clause 1 states that it specifies the basic requirements for and the processing methods of solar energy data, the revision method for representative year data and the content requirements for the evaluation, and that it applies to the calculation and evaluation of solar energy resources for the planning, research and industrial use of solar energy in the energy, construction, meteorology, electric power, agriculture and other related fields.
The contents list clause 4 on symbols, clause 5 on basic data requirements, clause 6 on the data processing method, clause 7 on the revision of representative year data and clause 8 on the evaluation content requirements, followed by four appendices, normative ones on the rationality check method for solar resource data, on the calculation of the a and b coefficients and on the method for determining the time series of representative years, and an informative one on the calculation method of extrasolar solar radiation, with a reference list at the end.
Clause 2 cites GB/T 19565-2017, GB/T 31156-2014, GB/T 33698-2017, GB/T 33699-2017, GB/T 34325-2017, GB/T 35231-2017 and QX/T 20-2016.
Clause 3 carries definitions of direct radiation, normal direct radiation, direct horizontal radiation and scattering radiation, the first three attributed on the page to GB/T 31163-2014, with a note that direct radiation is generally measured with an instrument of about a 5 degree field of view, while the sun itself subtends only about 0.5 degrees, so the measurement also takes in part of the scattered radiation around the sun.
The draft on the page breaks off inside clause 3, so the contents of clauses 4 to 8 themselves are not shown. The standard was proposed by the China Meteorological Administration and falls under the National Climate and Climate Change Standardization Technical Committee Wind Energy Solar Climate Resources Subcommittee (SAC/TC540/SC2). It was issued on 2019-06-04 and has applied since 2020-01-01.

Foreword
This standard was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.
1 Scope
This standard specifies the basic requirements and processing methods of solar energy data, the revised method of representative data and the content requirements for evaluation.
This standard applies to the planning, research and industrial solar energy resources of solar energy utilization in energy, construction, meteorology, electric power, agriculture and other related fields. Source calculation and evaluation.

3 Terms and definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this document.
3.1 Direct radiation
Radiation from a small solid angle around the sun and its surroundings. [GB/T 31163-2014, definition 5.11]
Note: In general, direct radiation is measured by an instrument with an angle of view of approximately 5°, while the field of view of the day itself is only about 0.5°, so it includes around the sun. Part of the scattered radiation, that is, the ring radiation.
3.2 Normal direct radiation
Direct radiation received on a plane perpendicular to the sun's rays. [GB/T 31163-2014, definition 5.12]
Note: In terms of numerical value, direct radiation is the same as normal direct radiation; the difference between the two is that direct radiation is defined from the perspective of the sun.
Direct radiation is defined by the angle of incidence from the surface.
3.3 Direct horizontal radiation
Direct radiation received on a horizontal plane. [GB/T 31163-2014, definition 5.13]
3.4 Scattering radiation
Solar radiation is dispersed by air molecules, clouds, and various particles in the air into non-directional radiation that does not change its monochromatic composition.
