Scope

GB/T 37210-2018 is the English-translated version of 耐核辐射充气和充水橡胶密封制品.

GB/T 37210-2018 covers inflatable and water-filled rubber sealing products that resist nuclear radiation. It applies to the inflatable seals of the reactor pool and spent fuel pool water gates in the reactor building of a nuclear power plant, and to the water-filled shielding bladder of the containment expansion compensation joint.

The standard gives terms such as simulated body and working surface, and sets requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transport and storage.

The rubber material is EPDM, and its physical properties are checked with the rubber test methods it references, including tensile, tear, hardness, bond strength, low-temperature brittleness, heat ageing and ozone cracking tests. It was issued on 28 December 2018 and has applied since 1 November 2019.

Foreword

This standard was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.

1 Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions for nuclear radiation-resistant aerated and water-filled rubber seals (including inflatable seals and water-filled seals). Meaning, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage.

This standard applies to nuclear power plant reactor building reactor pool water gate inflatable seals, spent fuel pool water gate inflatable seals (both The type of seal is called an inflatable seal) and the nuclear power plant reactor building containment expansion compensation joint shielding water bladder (ie, water-filled seal).
