Scope
GB/T 37145-2018 is the English-translated version of 低压机柜 抽出式功能单元机械结构.
GB/T 37145-2018 covers the mechanical structures used for withdrawable functional units, the drawers, in low-voltage switchgear cabinets.
It sets requirements and tests for environmental adaptability, surface finish, position and locking, and insulation performance, including creepage distance, insulation resistance, leakage current, withstand voltage, temperature rise, glow-wire testing and earthing.
It also covers impact, collision, free fall, vibration and mechanical life, the degree of protection, marking and instructions, and inspection rules.
It applies to drawers, push-in and pull-out mechanisms, coupling mechanisms to the handle shaft, guide rails and hinges, and mechanical interlocks supplied by cabinet manufacturers for circuits rated below 1000 V AC at 50 Hz or 60 Hz or below 1500 V DC. It was issued on 28 December 2018 and has applied since 1 July 2019.

Foreword
This standard was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.
1 Scope
This standard specifies the environmental adaptability, surface, position and lock of the mechanical structure products for the extractable functional unit in the low-voltage cabinet.
Edge performance, mechanical properties, degree of protection, information and inspection rules.
This standard applies to the installation and supply to the user by the cabinet manufacturer, and the rated voltage is less than 1000V, the frequency is 50Hz (or 60Hz), or DC below 1500V, including but not limited to.
---The mechanical structure (drawer) used to apply the withdrawable functional unit in the electrical circuit, the material for manufacturing these products can be metal Material, it can also be an insulating material;
---Mechanical mechanism for realizing the function unit to push or pull out, and to realize the positional positioning and locking function of the functional unit.
Moreover, these products are generally equipped with electrical components for providing electrical signals;
--- for connecting the mechanical coupling mechanism between the operable electrical component and the handle shaft in the functional unit;
--- Guide rails, hinges, etc. for functional units for supporting or positioning;
--- Products used to achieve mechanical interlocking.
