Scope

GB/T 37144-2018 is the English-translated version of 低压机柜 电气机械结构.

GB/T 37144-2018 specifies the requirements for the electrical and mechanical structure products fitted inside low-voltage switchgear cabinets, for rated voltages below 1000 V AC at 50 Hz or 60 Hz, or below 1500 V DC.

It covers connectors for primary and secondary circuits, insulating supports such as busbar clamps and insulators, distribution components that split one circuit into several, and insulating functional parts such as operating handles, ventilation windows and label boxes.

The requirements deal with environmental adaptability, surface, clearances and creepage distances, insulation resistance, withstand voltage, temperature rise, conductivity, loop resistance, protective earthing, short circuit characteristics, impact, collision, free fall, vibration, mechanical life, enclosure protection class, marking and user manuals, with inspection rules and an annex of type test items. It was issued on 28 December 2018 and has applied since 1 July 2019.

Foreword

This standard was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.

1 Scope

This standard specifies the environmental adaptability, surface, insulation properties and electrical properties of electrical connections or mechanical support products in low-voltage cabinets. Energy, mechanical properties, enclosure protection rating, information and inspection rules.

This standard applies to the installation and supply to the user by the cabinet manufacturer, and the rated voltage is less than 1000V, the frequency is 50Hz (or 60Hz), or DC below 1500V, including but not limited to.

---Connectors for active connections in electrical circuits, including primary circuit connectors, secondary circuit connectors, or for plug connections Use device, etc.;

---Insulation for electrical support, including busbar clamps, insulators, etc.;

---Functions for electrical circuit distribution, including one circuit assigned to two circuits, three circuits or four circuits and above Energy

--- Functional components mounted on the metal structure of the low-voltage cabinet, and made of insulating materials, including operating handles, ventilation windows, labels Box and so on.

Note: Refer to Appendix A for the type test items of different electrical and mechanical structure products.
