Scope
GB/T 37093-2018 is the English-translated version of 信息安全技术 物联网感知层接入通信网的安全要求.
GB/T 37093-2018 sets the security requirements for the way the sensing layer of an Internet of Things system connects to the communication network.
It describes the structure of that access and the classification of the security requirements, with a note on the cryptographic algorithms, and then gives basic-level and enhanced-level technical requirements for three parts: the communication network access system, the network that carries the sensed information, and the sensing layer access entities themselves, such as sensing terminals and sensing layer gateways.
It defines the terms used and the abbreviations, and an informative annex gives typical application examples. It is intended for the information security design, selection and system integration of sensing layer access entities in IoT engineering projects. It was issued on 28 December 2018 and has applied since 1 July 2019.

3.1 Internet of Things Perception Layer
The Internet of Things perception control domain is a collection of entities that acquire the information of the sensing object and the hardware and software system that controls the control object.
3.2 Communication network
Collect, integrate, and process IoT-aware information data and form computer devices and networks for IoT applications.
3.3 Perceptual terminal
A device that can collect and/or perform operations on objects or environments and can communicate on a network.
3.4 IoT awareness layer gateway
The supporting sensing layer is interconnected with the communication network, and implements an entity that is locally managed by the sensing layer.
3.5 Perceptual layer access entity
A device that is in the IoT sensing layer and accesses the communication network for data communication.
Note: Common perceptual layer access entities include cognitive terminals, perceptual layer gateways, etc., which are used to collect perceptual object information or implement local management.
