Scope
GB/T 41816-2022 is the English-translated version of 物联网 面向智能燃气表应用的物联网系统技术规范.
GB/T 41816-2022 describes the internet-of-things system behind smart gas metering and sets requirements for its three parts, the master station, the IoT connection management platform and the smart gas meter, plus safety and test methods.
For the meter it covers human-machine interaction, prompts and alarms, recording and storage, billing, control, self-test, communication, data upload, the remote control valve, remote parameter setting, unique identifiers and transcription success rate; for the master station and the platform it covers the functional requirements along with real-time behaviour, stability or reliability, scalability, openness and capacity.
The meters concerned include membrane, ultrasonic and thermal gas meters and turbine, rotary-piston and ultrasonic flowmeters, for natural gas, liquefied petroleum gas and manufactured gas.
It applies to the design, testing and application of these systems. Issued on 14 October 2022, it has applied since 1 May 2023.
