Scope

GB/T 36704-2018 is the English-translated version of 铁精矿.

GB/T 36704-2018 is the Chinese product standard for iron ore concentrate, the material obtained by beneficiating magnetite, hematite, vanadium-titanium magnetite and polymetallic iron ores and then used for sintering and pelletizing.

It sets the technical requirements for the concentrate and specifies the inspection methods, the inspection rules, packaging, transport and the quality certificate that accompanies each lot.

The test methods it calls up are the GB/T 6730 series for iron ore, covering moisture, total iron, silicon, aluminium, sulfur, phosphorus, titanium, rare earths, fluorine, vanadium, arsenic, potassium and carbon, including multi-element determinations.

Mines, concentrators, steelworks and testing laboratories use it when trading and checking concentrate. It was issued on 17 September 2018 and has applied since 1 June 2019.

1 Scope

This standard specifies the technical requirements, inspection methods, inspection rules, packaging, transportation and quality forecast sheets of iron concentrates.

This standard applies to magnetite, hematite, vanadium-titanium magnetite, and polymetallic iron ore. After enrichment and processing, it is used for sintering and ball. A group of iron concentrates processed.
