Part and GB/T 6730.31-1986 compared to the main technical changes are as follows.
--- Standard name was changed to "Determination of vanadium content of iron ore N-benzoylbenzene extraction spectrophotometry";
--- The measuring range is expanded from "0.025% ~ 0.300%" to "0.005% ~ 0.5%";
--- The dissolution of the sample is changed from "alkali fusion" to "alkali melting followed by acid dissolution";
--- Added "warning" "normative references" and "test report" Chapter and content, the original title and serial number of the article made the corresponding adjustments;
--- "Acceptance of analytical value" changed to "result calculation and its representation", the content has been modified accordingly.

3 method principle
The sample was melted and decomposed with sodium peroxide and leached with water and sulfuric acid. Dispensing liquid was added phosphoric acid and potassium permanganate, vanadium oxidation into the pentavalent state.
Excess potassium permanganate is reduced with sodium nitrite in the presence of urea. In hydrochloric acid medium, pentavalent vanadium forms a complex with BPHA using trichloride
Methane extraction. Absorbance was measured at a wavelength of about 535 nm using a spectrophotometer.

Unless otherwise indicated in the analysis, the use of analytical reagents only and in line with GB/T 6682 secondary distilled water or its purity equivalent
