GB/T 36563-2018 is the English-translated version of 甲醇制汽油组分油.

GB/T 36563-2018 is the Chinese national product standard for gasoline component oil produced from methanol. It covers product classification, technical requirements and test methods, sampling and marking, packaging, transportation and storage, and safety requirements.

The test methods it calls up include octane number by the motor method, Reid and micro vapour pressure, atmospheric distillation, oxidation stability, gum content, copper corrosion, water-soluble acid and alkali, mechanical impurities and total sulfur, together with gas chromatography or fluorescent indicator determinations of hydrocarbons, aromatics, benzene, alcohols and ethers, and atomic absorption methods for lead, manganese and iron.

Classification of the product as a flammable liquid and the dangerous goods packaging mark are also referenced. It was issued on 13 July 2018 and has applied since 1 February 2019.

This standard specifies the product classification, technical requirements and test methods, sampling and marking, packaging, transportation and storage of methanol-based gasoline component oil. And safety requirements.

This standard applies to gasoline component oils produced from methanol.
