GB 25199-2026 is the English-translated version of 生物柴油调合车用柴油.
GB 25199-2026 is the Chinese national standard covering diesel fuel blended with biodiesel for road vehicles — the B5 and higher blends sold at the pump, with the properties that decide whether an engine runs on them: cetane number, density and viscosity, cold flow, oxidation stability, water and the sulfur limit.

This document was issued on 30 July 2026 by the State Administration for Market Regulation and the Standardization Administration of the People's Republic of China, and takes effect on 1 August 2027.
It replaces GB 25199-2017, which remains in force until that date.
The document is under the responsibility of the National Energy Administration.

3 Classification and status
GB 25199-2026 is classified under ICS 75.160.20, in the field of petroleum and related technologies. ICS is the International Classification for Standards, the same scheme used by ISO and by the national bodies of most countries, which is what allows a Chinese standard to be placed beside its foreign counterparts on subject rather than on number.
