GB/T 36461-2018 is the English-translated version of 物联网标识体系 OID应用指南.

GB/T 36461-2018 is a guide to using object identifiers (OIDs) in Internet of Things identification systems. It explains the object identifier requirements of the Internet of Things and the features of OIDs, gives the steps for building an OID-based identification system and sets out the OID coding structure for objects.

It also covers how an OID resolution system is deployed in Internet of Things applications and how OID operating agencies are established, and defines the National OID Registration Center, which manages the Chinese branches 1.2.156 and 2.16.156.

It builds on GB/T 17969.1, GB/T 26231, GB/T 35299 and GB/T 35300, and guides organisations that allocate OIDs, build identifier management systems or provide resolution services. It was issued on 7 June 2018 and has applied since 1 January 2019.

This standard was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.

1 Scope

This standard gives the steps for the construction of the OID-based Internet of Things logo system and the object OID coding structure in the Internet of Things.

The deployment of OID resolution system in web applications and the establishment of OID operation institutions in the application of Internet of Things.

This standard is applicable to the OID distribution of management objects in the Internet of Things logo system, the construction of an IOT application logo management system, and the The management organization provides guidance for organizations in the field of the Internet of Things to provide identification analysis services and analytical systems.

3 Terms and Definitions

The terms and definitions defined in GB/T 17969.1-2015 and GB/T 26231-2017 apply to this document.

3.1 National OID Registration Center

Responsible for the registration and analysis of China OID branch 1.2.156 (ISO.member.china) and 2.16.156 (ISO -ITU.member.china). Management and international filing agencies.

3.2 Object identifier; OID

The globally unique value associated with the object that is used to unambiguously identify the object ensures that the object is correctly in communication or information processing. Positioning and management.

3.3 Operating agency

According to this standard, OID registration and resolution services are provided to organizations in the Internet of Things (IoT) application area, maintaining the 156.2.1.oid-res.org domain. DNS domain file organization.

3.4 OID-IRI canonical form

Only integer format unicodelabel can be used.

Note: OID-IRI is an ASN.1 type defined by GB/T 16262.1-2006. The term OID-IRI value refers to the ASN.1 value tag symbol. The value tag of ASN.1 is consistent with the IANA "oid" IRI/URI system that omits the initial value "oid.".
