GB/T 36417.3-2018 is the English-translated version of 全分布式工业控制网络第3部分：接口通用要求.

GB/T 36417.3-2018 is Part 3 of the Chinese series on fully distributed industrial control networks and sets the general requirements for their interfaces.

It gives an overview of the network interface and its classification, then specifies the requirements for device-to-network and network-to-network interfaces, with a list of network types and the fieldbus and industrial Ethernet protocols they use.

Functional and performance test methods follow, and an informative annex explains the industrial communication network protocols.

The standard applies to the planning and construction of fully distributed industrial control networks in discrete manufacturing and the process industries, and draws on the safety, reliability and electromagnetic compatibility tests of GB 4793.1, GB/T 5080 and GB/T 17626. It was issued on 7 June 2018 and has applied since 1 January 2019.

This part is drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.

1 Scope

This part of GB/T 36417 specifies the interface overview, interface classification, general requirements and tests for fully distributed industrial control networks. method.

This section applies to the planning and construction of fully distributed industrial control networks for the discrete manufacturing and process industries.
