Scope
GB/T 36263-2018 is the English-translated version of 城镇燃气符号和量度要求.
GB/T 36263-2018 lists the symbols and measurement requirements commonly used in the city gas field.
It gives the basic symbols and those used for plant and station projects, pipeline engineering and gas burning and gas-burning appliances, together with general symbols in Annex A and the conversion of commonly used measures in Annex B. Symbols must follow GB 3100, GB/T 3101 and the parts of GB/T 3102, and legal units of measurement are to be used, with SI units first.
In general each quantity has one name and one symbol, with alternate symbols in brackets for particular cases. It applies to city gas engineering construction, product manufacturing and publishing. It was issued on 7 June 2018 and has applied since 1 May 2019.
