1 Scope

GB 45833-2025 is the Chinese national standard on general safety technical requirements of electricity use for gas-burning appliance, in the field of construction materials and building. It carries no /T suffix, which in the Chinese system means compliance is mandatory: a product or a practice within its scope has to meet it to be lawfully made, sold or carried out in China. It was issued on 30 May 2025 by the State Administration for Market Regulation; Standardization Administration of China, and has been in force since 1 June 2026. Classification: ICS 91.140, CCS P45. This document specifies the classification, electrical structure and materials, electrical performance, electromagnetic Compatible with safety, remote operation, electrical related information and other requirements, and describes the corresponding test methods. This document applies to burning appliances with a rated voltage not exceeding 250 V as specified in GB 16914. This document does not apply to burning appliances that use three-phase AC power, burning appliances that use only batteries, and burning appliances that use only electrical energy to achieve their functions.
