Scope

GB/T 47895-2026 is the English-translated version of 城镇燃气输配系统标识及编码.

3 Terms, Definitions and Abbreviations

3.1 Terms and Definitions

The following terms and definitions apply to this document.

3.1.1 Identification

To distinguish a physical object from other physical objects, a unique identifier is assigned to it.

3.1.2 Electronic marker

A device for indicating the horizontal and vertical depth location of underground pipelines.

Note: This includes both ordinary electronic tags and electronic information tags.

3.1.4 Code

Symbols are combinations of characters and numbers arranged according to certain rules to identify physical objects.

3.1.5 Coding index

Documents used to retrieve the codes of identifying objects such as gas supply process systems, equipment and product components, and buildings (structures).
